"I think this school does an excellent job teaching and supporting students with their abilities of education. All my children go to this school for 4-5 years and they learned a lot. The principal and most of the teachers are very friendly. I don’t understand why some people give this school a bad rating because I have had a good experience here in A.C.Moore Elementary."
"This was my son's first year attending AC Moore and I would say this school is not one I would recommend at all. My son was in a closed setting class because of his autism diagnosis. There were supposed to be specific accommodations made in this class because of his special needs. These accommodations are documented in a IEP, which the school failed to follow numerous times. My son's behavior escalated during several incidents in which the school was supposed to implement these IEP instructions to deescalate the situation. Failures to follow the IEP resulted in my son being suspended several times. In addition to these incidents, his teacher lied numerous times about informing me of various situations and important information. Each time the principal was notified of these issues, her reaction was nonchalant, as if this behavior from the staff was tolerable and no big deal. When you are responsible for someone else's children, that reaction to their concerns is the wrong way to resolve the issue. This was my personal experience and my son will not be attending this school ever again."
