"Columbia middle is way better than most schools but it has a lot of issues. First of all, lots of the kids here need an attitude adjustment. They are rude to the teachers as well as other students. There is so much rumors and bullying going around. Some of the teachers, on the other hand, are wonderful and keep the classroom alive with interactive help. My teachers offer free tutoring on certain days. A few teacher can very terrible however, so its a gamble if you have a good year or not."

"Columbia middle is on the best middle schools. My child has ever attended wow being stationed here at Fort Gordon, Georgia. She is a part of band, the Beta Club, and the school is often recognized for its achievements and accomplishments throughout the community, which I believe is a plus when your child attends it."

"As a parent of a child that attended for nearly 3 years, I was heavily disappointed in this school. The ENTIRE administration was incredibly unhelpful when dealing with my child that has mental health issues. The guidance counselor's only suggestion was that I find a church. I begged and pleaded for assistance on their end, and their form of help was slapping my child with suspension after suspension (many of them over very ridiculous dress code violations) Moreover, the lack of electives is absolutely astonishing. They have multiple tech classes, business classes, and nothing that would truly interest a middle schooler. They have made education completely bland, and thus many of the students act out because they are BORED. I regret ever allowing my child to step foot into this school. I guess if you have the right kind of money they will treat your child well, but they certainly did not treat me or my child with any dignity or respect."

"This is a great school for incoming 6ths graders. The food is great, the teachers are the best and the staff is very supportive. But, one thing that messes up the school is the bus system. The bus drivers are great but do your best on avoiding the bad seats. I know from experience. There is lauguage and bad humor. But no matter what class you are in... GO RAIDERS!!!"

"This school is horible there is a fight just about every day , lunch is discusting, the teachers dont evenn care about the students beavior, theres talk about sex and profanity, its like a rated R movie up in here. There drama department is amazing. But evrything else is bad. When you need to use the restroom the teacher will tell you no even though your about to pee yourself hearing the same lecturie for the 5th time is more important.Parents if you trying to move to find a good school for your kids DON'T SEND THEM TO CMS"
