"I would give zero stars if I could! I can’t find words to describe my experience but I really hope I don’t have to come back here again. This is my third visit to the Paediatric emergency in 2 years and the only thing that has improved was the wait time for room assignment everything else is still the same. I don’t know know if staffing is the issue but they really need to do better!"
"Worst hospital. They discharge patient even if not fully recovered and end up in a different hospital the same day that they discharge my child. Happened 3x already, been waiting in the ED for 4 hrs and when seen by the doctor, did not even perform lab test and got discharged right away. I explained to them the situation of my child but they don't seem to understand it. When got discharge, we transfer to Dublin ED and got admitted right away. Will never go back to AU ever again. Dublin and savannah is better. They will make sure patient is okay and stable before they discharge them."
"The worst ER In the nation . I understand understaffed and overbooked . Neither was the case today . I came in for a simple ear infection. It’s hour 4 and the dr is just now checking my baby. I would rather diagnose my own sick child than to EVERRRR bring them back here. I’m from the city where volume is 10x higher and I’ve never in my life spent an entire day inside of an er. While nurses walk around laughing and going home after shift I’m still sitting here with a sick infant."
"The staff is extremely loud at night, and rude, and not helpful, except for a few nurses. The facility is absolutely disgusting!!!! The indoor playground on the fourth floor hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Structural damage in the ceiling on the 3rd floor. Places that children sit and play are filthy. Doors slam for lack of maintenance. It’s extremely out dated. Everyone seems annoyed when you ask for help. They really need to overhaul the entire facility and the majority of staff from custodial to the doctors on staff. Y’all better post this and delete it. I will be filing a complaint"
"Absolutely amazing children's hospital. They took in my daughter at 6pm and get us in a room by 630pm through the ER. The wait was very slow as usual.for hospitals but the team was freaking fantastic! So many really kind and super caring people came to see and meet my daughter while she was I the trauma unit here. This hospital has two play rooms on the 5th floor trauma unit. They have a soft inside playground areas on the 4th floor. They have an outside patio area and so many amazing games for the kids. The nurses offered stickers and coloring pages and other games. My daughter even got a popsicle while in the ER. The admitted rooms are very cozy with two pull out bed and a recliner chair. All staff here is super friendly and dedicated to make the stay super comforting."
