Recycled Granite Upstate South Carolina 7 Harley Barn Drive, Greenville, SC 29611

"I had a firepit and seating area built by Recycled Granite upstate sc. This was and still is one of the worst experiences of my life. Tracey is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He was very condescending, rude, and unhelpful. This project was/is an absolute nightmare. The first fire I had, the metal insert rusted and blocks of the granite came loose and out. Tracey blamed me for the rust and then asked why I had taken the granite blocks off. After many messages and phone calls, he agreed to send someone to look at the firepit. The gentleman stated that it had nothing to do with me and that he could fix it. He did a decent job, except the firepit was now uneven and wavy looking. I asked if he could somehow make sure the insert sat down on the blocks better. He then put some red silicone under the insert and all around it. It was a mess. I was not home for all of this work, so when I came home I was very upset with the work. I then messaged tracey again and told him this was not going to work. He stated that was what I asked for and he wasnt coming to fix it. I continued to call him and left messages. His wife, Sheri called me back finally. She stated she would send him back and she would come too. Tracey wanted me to sign a form that stated this was the last time they would come to fix the firepit. I declined that, and stated that I could get a lawyer if I needed to because I signed a warranty and building contract. I was absolutely appauled. So, They both came out and he took the firepit apart and he was absolutely unpleasurable. He blamed the blocks on bad morter. He fixed the firepit yet again. Not long after that, the same thing with the blocks happened and then pieces of the seating area started to chip and come apart. I called and messaged yet again. Sheri agreed to come back with him and they were going to buy the morter from the store they usually did this time. They fixed the firepit again, but Tracey said the bench seating was just going to be that way and wasnt going to be fixed. After all of this, the blocks are loose and come out, the metal insert is curled on all 4 ends, and the bench seating is still peeling. I contacted them yet again and they told me a date they would be there. They never showed up and I got excuses as to why they couldn't come. They have yet to call me back or show up to fix these problems. I wish I could give them negative stars. I spent a lot of money on this project and it is still not right. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone."

The owner was so accommodating and once we saw his amazing work we were hooked. We purchased the fire pit kit shown here. He had it ready for pick up quickly and the install was easy! We love it."
