"I took down my previous post because I felt bad about what I had said because right after I made the original post that started being very helpful. However, today I have called several times and every time I have been put on hold for 5-10 minutes and the lady who answered the phone was extremely extremely rude. It’s past time for me to get my vyvanse filled and I understand that there is a shortage at the moment but when I keep trying to find out what I need to do or how I can get my medicine (which I need because I’m extremely adhd and when I can’t get my tasks for grad school AND my full time job done I get super anxious and will have full blown panic attacks) Frustrated doesn’t even begin to explain how I feel about the service I have endured from Beckman."
"Not me but I friend of mine was going here for mental health therapy and the people were great that he talked too but it wasn’t long before the person he was talking to would either quit the practice and go somewhere else or he’d be moved to a different counselor and start all over again and again! He didn’t get anywhere! Just sharing his story over and over, reliving everything he’s been through! For what? “I’m sure you’ll connect with this psychiatrist! Sorry we had to move you” it was fine the first time but after a few hundred tries it just gets ridiculous. Along with a ridiculous wait time. Don’t let the sign in the lobby fool you. It says “call desk if you wait more than 30 minutes for someone to call you in” well I would if there was someone at the desk! Which 99.9% of the time there isn’t. The 1% percent there was someone? Completely ignores us! Every time we went there it was about a 2 hour wait and when we were finally called over it was to the desk so they could tell us he’s being moved or! That his psychiatrist canceled… this isn’t just some appointment! These are people who have serious issues and are trying to reach out for help which is already hard enough! The only reason I give this review 2 stars is cause 1. I know how hard it is to keep employees and I know their trying there hardest and 2. My friend said they did have good psychiatrist.. ya know the few times he could actually see them.. the last time we were there it was the same story of ridiculous wait time so we went to the desk, we tried telling them it’s been way longer than 39 minutes and you know what the lady did? Took the board they have to block the little hole in the glass to give papers and blocked it and went right back to typing on her computer. Not! to get us in, just to ignore us. That was the last time we went there and we haven’t been back since"
"Was referred for crisis intervention. However it took nearly three months from time of first call (other two times for phone appointment, the councilor and office canceled 1 hour out, then the next appointment I received no call or call back to be told an additional month later when they finally called to make another appointment-that I missed the last appointment! Though I had cleared my schedule and was sitting by the phone!) Crisis intervention is suppose to be on going and weekly but the staff showed no care or consideration for my needs and would spend 14 to 30 days or more between contacts. During them time waiting nearly three months with no service-in that time was able to find from another center a councilor that was able to make weekly appointments and keep them!! Staff was lax, full of excuses, condescending, and frankly rude at times. Absolutely no help at all."
"I went to beckman for about 3 months. At first everyone was helpful and nice and then after 3 months of going to see Crystal, who talked about her life problems every time I went, I got a 2000 dollar bill even though I was on sliding scale fee and they never even got me in with a psychiatrist. I only went 6 times. They were not helpful at all and ended up giving me more stress and anxiety than when I started."
"I've been with them about 3 months. So far everyone has been wonderful. The nurse Nicole was excellent. Lisa Cometto was great and really listened. Jackie is always so nice at the front desk. And I love Crystal. She's been so very helpful already and I'm excited to work with her more."
