"My husband and I stopped here to pick up a few things. We decided to go ahead and get something from the deli for dinner. We asked about the meatball sub and were told we would need to wait for 25 minutes. Seriously why is it on your menu if it is not in stock? We decided that even though we haven't had good luck in the past with their chicken we would purchase an 8 piece mixed box. HUGE mistake. I don't think it was cooked all the way and they definitely did not let the grease drain off. It was very greasy and frankly inedible. I would like to know how people still think that Publix has the best fried chicken??? They definitely DO NOT!!!!! No problem with the store itself just the deli hence the 1 star."
"In general, for a big box grocery store, I am a fan of Publix. They have a great plant-based selection and their staff is overall very friendly. However, there needs to be more locations in the west ashley area. This one is always very crowded and the other one is too. They are also quite expensive compared to most grocery stores. I would rather go to Earth Fare but I do come here for some specific items. They also seem to have a great pharmacy with good prices and deals on good rx if you need self-pay medication."
"I am quick shopper, so I had my list, went in and found everything very easily. The prices for other items that I want are reasonably priced. A few lines were long, but there were also shorter lines which made check out fast. That was on Sunday afternoon."
"I will say this, Miss Taya from the deli, went above and beyond with her service. I’ve never experience a service like I did yesterday evening I felt that she did my sub and my daughter serves as if she was doing it for her with patient care extra care. Thank you for your service. I could tell that you love your job, and when you love your job, you demonstrate compassion and passion about it. Thank you for the great service you made my evening. You made me felt that you care about food. And I hope that this review is being seen by any Publix manager or upper head people like her receive some type of reward."
