Publix Super Market at St. James Shopping Center 208 Saint James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445

"First off ap defaulted to this location. Ordered subs off the app at 9:30 am for 1145. Walked in at 12:10 only one sub was complete. When I asked about the second I got “We don’t have that. We can make you something else after we get through this stack of orders. We tried to call you.” Well I was out in the middle of nowhere all morning. And there was no voicemail or any indication that had tried to reach me. The attitude was less than impressive."

"Every few years I get a treat of one king crab cluster for Valentine’s Day and so this year I waited until the king crab clusters were on sale. The day they went on sale they weren’t in stock but Seafood said they’d been ordered so I checked every day for 6 days until my husband went back for me on day 6 and though they hadn’t been in stock that morning someone found them in the back. When my husband got home I saw he had given us a cluster without a claw and the price rung up as full price so I went back for the Publix promise which says you get the first item free when it’s rung up incorrectly and to get my claw. After a bit of confusion about how to honor the Publix promise they went back to seafood to get a new label and the associate said they were jumbo king crab clusters not the regular ones so the price was correct, even though it didn’t say jumbo on the sticker, there aren’t any called jumbo online, we hadn’t asked for jumbo in the first place, and they were the same price as the regular ones (when the regular were not on sale). They wouldn’t honor the discount and because my husband had bought them I didn’t have the credit card so I had to get a gift card as my refund. They wouldn’t give me cash, wouldn’t honor the sale price, didn’t have the right item in stock in the first place during their sale, and then I assume just threw away a very expensive item instead of giving me the discount. The reason we shop at Publix is for the better customer service the prices are higher but I can usually be sure they will treat you better than other places so this was a very disappointing visit."

"Employees were friendly and helpful. First visit to a store in the area. I thought the place was clean and well stocked. Employees were busy and not standing around. I think this is a good store with a lot of good people."

"I wanted to give a huge thank you to the customer service team for going above and beyond to help my mom out. I live in Texas and got a notification that her Medical Guardian went off. She didn't respond to her device and didn't answer her cell phone. Device showed she was at Publix St James so I called the customer service desk. Justin and a couple of ladies went the extra mile to look for her in the store and the parking lot. They were able to locate her and she was fine. It's great to know there are dedicated employees with good hearts on the Publix team."

"First time being in South Carolina and also first being in a grocery store called Publix. It's a great experience. Their hot food is great but their sandwich bread are a hit and miss. It can be soft and then it can be hard. They have great prices. Great service over 10 outta 10"
