"I highly recommend Charleston Veterinary Referral Center. From the receptionist to the technicians to the doctors they treated me with the utmost respect and kindness during a most stressful time. They help me feel at ease and I trusted them wholeheartedly. They got my dog regulated with his diabetes and he's back to his old self again which he hasn't been for months. If you have an emergency and your dog is in trouble this hospital is where you should take your baby. Their prices were reasonable and they really did try to keep my cost down. For me I don't care what the cost I'm just glad my baby was able to come home. Thank you to the staff of Charleston Veterinary Referral Center for your kindness, your patience and your professionalism."
"Today I was so nervous because my puppy was not feeling well but when I called the person who answered the phone was so nice , patient and informative that it made my fears go away. When I arrived everyone was so nice and helpful and everyone showed compassion. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything that will be done and the price as well as the treatment when my puppy goes home. This place is very well organized and clean. I would definitely recommend this place because you can tell they love their job and it shows in the passionate care they give . This was my first time going to a vet hospital and I hope this will be the last but if I had an emergency again I would definitely go back.. Thanks to all the doctors and staff!!!!"
"Our 8 yr old Cavilier Spaniel was admitted on Friday afternoon with difficulty breathing and congestive heart failure. She was taken in immediately and placed in intensive care. She received immediate treatment and was released Saturday morning. We were very pleased with the attention and care she received. A high level medical care facility staffed by competent caregivers comparable to any people hospital!"
"We were referred to CVRC just days before Christmas, we needed a surgeon and there wasn’t one at our local emergency room. From the time we walked through the door to the time we picked up our dog 2 days later we were treated with compassion and empathy and there was never any doubt in our minds that our little peaches was going in the very best hands. The surgeon on call was inundated with emergency surgeries and was still able to successfully remove a foreign object from-her stomache., after being so busy all day long. I can’t thank them enough. We are forever greatful to the entire staff at the emergency room as well as CVRC."
"The amazing Dr Patrick veterinarian told us to go to Charleston Veterinary Referral Center after doing an ultrasound on our late baby Shiloh of 10 years..we went the same day he saw her not realizing we needed an appointment, but by some miracle Dr Rissetto (oncologist) had an appointment that just opened up. She diagnosed and had a pathologist confirm that Shiloh had mast cell disease and told us our options..she was very empathetic and helped us through the process. She even answered our emails when we had questions throughout her first chemo treatment. It was very overwhelming and she helped calm us. Unfortunately we lost her 2 weeks after her 2 round of chemo medication after fluid formed around her spine and heart, but if it wasn’t for Kerri taking action and getting her the right treatment, we probably wouldn’t of had that time with her. They gave us plenty of time with her after she passed on their table and we’re very very caring when it came to coordinating her cremation. They clipped locks of hair for us and even made nose prints when we only paid for paws!! The card they all signed that was mailed to us…the small gesture of them bringing her remains around the receptionist desk vs handing it over…those are the little things that made us even more grateful and happy we went to CVRC. Thank you all for everything. I couldn’t imagine doing what you do."
