"I had a septic tank issue, called to make an appointment and was told that someone would come the next day between 9:30-10 AM. When no one showed up by 11:00 am, I called the company and was told that the person that was supposed to come had a funeral that morning. (Did he not know the night before that he had a funeral?!!) I asked why they did not contact me to let me know he was not coming. I was told that they were not sure if the fella was coming in later that afternoon and did not know if he was going to call to let the company know of his plans. This is a pretty poor way of doing business and I certainly would never use their services again nor would I recommend them!"

"Was told this was the best plumber in Hartwell. I thought so…. Called and an actually talked to a very nice lady on the phone. She said a plumber would call me… about 30 minutes I received a call and described what was wrong and he said he would be right over. About 29 minutes later he showed up and looked at the problem. He took my info and said he would give me an estimate the next day and we could get started after I approved the estimate. That was August17. I called twice and asked about the estimate, again the lady was very attentive but sounded in her voice like this is a problem with this employee. I have had raw sewage running on my property going on two weeks waiting on the plumber to give me a price. Which I never asked for, I wanted him to start right away. Guess this company has too much work. I’m looking elsewhere for a plumber who will follow through"

"Will never use this company again. Called last October to have some plumbing done and electrical done. They required a 50% deposit to get me on the schedule. They came out and did about 25% of the work but needed to come back another time to finish the rest. Well... 5 months goes by and I hear excuse after excuse as to why they have have not been able to come back. Now they have stopped returning my calls and emails. Called another company last week and they were there 3 days later and did a wonderful job. You've been warned...."

"On the day of the appointment was contacted by the driver he was on the way then shortly their after contacted notified of his truck having “issues”. Driver said he would notify me if he was going to be able to continue with the appointment or not. I attempted to contact the office via phone with 10 plus attempts going unanswered. The driver never contacted me again, I had to contact him only to hear he didn’t know what he was going to do. The office finally answered and said the truck had broken down earlier that morning but no one contacted me to say they were having issues or so I could be able to contact another company in a reasonable time to get my septic issues fixed that JL Adams were scheduled to do. All this after a day was taken off work expecting good service but instead got the shaft. Will not recommend to anyone."
