Supercuts 1724 State Road, Summerville, SC 29483

"Took my 3 year old son here today for a haircut and was extremely disappointed. He had an appointment, and the first thing that struck me as odd was when we walked in and the two women working did not look up or acknowledge us for at LEAST five minutes. They were having a conversation, but as the only customer in the facility I was surprised to not even receive a “hello” or even a glance our way when they were literally five feet from us behind the counter which is the center point of the salon. When their conversation ended, they still didn’t acknowledge us as I stood at the counter with my baby and toddler.. not a peep. The woman who cut my sons hair, Lowanda, was extremely unfriendly and did not smile once the entire time. She kept scolding my son when he didn’t keep his head perfectly straight and it honestly took everything for me to not let my mama bear instincts come out. He is 3 years old and she was telling him to “stop it” sternly and “no”. I was baffled. I know parents think “not my kid” all the time, but he really was sitting nice and her entire demeanor was very concerning. I would never recommend coming here and especially never taking your child here. The staff working today, 2/15/23, need serious work on their customer service skills.?Everyone has bad days, but this, this wasn’t ok at all."

"I made an appointment and was taken on time. The lady who cut my hair was lovely and did a great job. Why one star you ask? The place is filthy. OMG! The floor, counters, trays, everything is filthy dirty. I will never go back there again. Where is the Dept. of Health? Yuck!"

"Rudest salon I’ve ever been in. I walked in at 9:30am to see if I could get a haircut. The lady cutting hair came over and said “yeah”, and looked at me like I was annoying her. I said I came to see if I could get a haircut. She looked at me and said “well did you check in”. I said no that I wanted to see if I could walk in. She looked at me and said “no”, that I would have to wait for 5 hours until 2:45pm. There were 3 hair cutters and no one waiting in the salon. I asked don’t you take walk ins anymore more. She said yeah at 2:45pm! This place has gone downhill terribly and they have some of the rudest inept haircutters ever. I will NEVER GO BACK!"

"Terrible customer service at this location. Read the previous reviews. Nobody waiting in the lobby and say you need an appointment. Why? No one was there waiting except me. Rude lady as well. Until management does something this location will continue to be terrible. Go to Goose Creek location, much better than the cane bay store. There’s a reason this store has a 3.8 rating."

"Stopped in today to get a quick trim, Only to be turned away at 9:30 a.m. There was one women waiting and one person in the chair at the time I arrived. The women in the shop said I needed to make an appointment and she was all booked up till 3pm Until the other girl comes in. The funny part is I made an appointment for the last hair cut and Still had to wait over an hour and a half. The stylist at the time told me the appointment is more like a guide and walk- ins will still be serviced In the order they came in. There seems to be a problem that needs to be addressed. Not very happy with this Super Cuts."
