I have stuck mainly with two stylists but everyone's chair I have ever sat in has always done a great job. On the rare occasion that I've had to go elsewhere, it's been nowhere near the experience and satisfaction that Hot Shots provides."

"I have had a hard time finding a hair dresser for my 4 year old son. I looked online to see who had the best reviews and decided to go with Hotshots. Called to find out they are appointment only and while that was a bit of an inconvenience I felt their almost 5 star rating would be worth the wait. I showed up for his appointment a few minutes early and they took him almost right away. From the start, the lady who cut his hair was very rude and impatient. I was trying to help my son figure out what he wanted his hair cut to be and the lady was very impatient trying to move the chair my son was in and move me out of the way. Then she told me at least three times, “Mom, you can go sit down”. I have never once been told to go sit down by a hair dresser. My son is four years old and I always stand there with him. It wasn’t a simple kind gesture. It was like a command, like I wasn’t allowed to stand close to my son. I sat in the seat close behind them and continued to watch. She then proceeds to tell my son to put down his head so far that his head is almost in his stomach. She scolded him when he moved his arms from out of the sheet and scolded him multiple times for picking up his own hair telling him not to pick it up and that it was “dirty”. She sprayed him down with water and he even told her he didn’t like it and she responded with an ugly tone telling my son that she had to have his hair wet so she could cut it right. But she practically gave him a shower with the amount of water she sprayed all over him. Completely unacceptable the way she wet him like that and talked to him. Then when she had to trim the back of his neck he told her he didn’t want her to put it on his neck, she replied she was and that she had to do her job. One thing is for certain, this lady doesn’t need to cut small children’s hair if she feels it’s okay to talk to children this way and in that ugly tone. Her job was to help my son (who is only 4 years old) have a good, safe, and positive experience. It was anything but that. The haircut itself was great though. But an experience like that is not worth a nice expensive $25 haircut! I overheard another hairdresser talking to a young boy and she sounded just as rude. I will never go back and I have no clue how this shop has a 4.8 star rating with so many good reviews. The atmosphere was just as bad as my son’s hairdresser."
