"I was shopping for a dress and found that they had a good selection. The dress was in an area clearly marked 40% off. When I went to pay I was told “this one issue on sale, it doesn’t have a sticker.” The stylist was very polite and offered to let me apply for a Macys credit card to get a discount. I would have given them a 5 star review if the dress was in an area that was regular price. Macys did have a good selection of dresses, and several cashiers on the floor. No one offered to help me while I shopped."
"I love Macy's. It's so fun to go and browse. Then you stumble upon some incredible bargains. I love to go gift shopping at Macy's, especially when I'm not sure what to get that special person. I'm sure I'll find something special. You know they'll even gift wrap my purchases for free. I love Macy's."
"Three days before Xmas, they had NO Customer Service people on the floor. They had a modicum of cashiers & that's it. Merchandise looked like a hurricane hit it & I had a simple question no one could answer. I shopped at Macy's when there was one in the world (that was in New York City). It was one of the most exciting places in the world; now it's Walmart."
"They have all these signs TOYS R US AY MACY'S and I was excited to see it, but it's such a disappointment. Literally you come up the escalator to the 2nd floor to a glass wall with shelves with a few board games displayed on them (like 1 or 2 per shelf) and just a tiny little corner of toys. I didn't really see any toys you couldn't find anywhere else. There weren't any associates around, just a little price check barcode scanner on the wall, and a sign for check-out directing you elsewhere into Macy's. On the plus side, the prices were about the same and most were $1 -$2 less than Target. Having a Geoffrey to take a picture with is cute. The corner was very clean, but the best thing to describe it was "underwhelming"."
"I liked how Macy's showcased some black-owned brands during Black History Month. I hope they continue to feature and support diverse communities all year round."
