"First visit to the little restaurant. Ordered the shrimp taco, which was not really to my liking. My other party ordered the chicken sandwich with fries which was good and moist. However, I was looking to purchase a drink and when asked how much it cost the female employee stayed $3.50. The male employee rung my drink up as $4.25 plus tax and a credit card fee when I paid cash. I did get the change for credit card fee. Please check your receipts and if employees are unsure about pricing, please double check your price list rather than giving a price without honoring what you are saying. I will not be returning."
"Excellent little neighborhood quick eats spot. Surprising variety on the menu but I usually go for the smash burger. Quick order kiosk up front or order ahead for pickup. There also is a cooler with a good variety of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages."
"5 stars for the burgers and chicken, but they need to either improve the Semilla concept or drop it entirely. The food truck has great reviews, so there's a disconnect between the truck and what's happening in the store. They handle proteins well, I'll give them that. And their standard salsa is excellent, so much so that I wish they gave you more than a thimble full of it with an order of chips. But everything else—the tacos and burritos—are almost always poorly executed and bland. Bland, stale rice, bland beans and they never include the advertised sauces. The burgers and fried chicken are among the best in the area. But the Mexican food needs some help."
"Ordered the barbacoa burrito for dine- in. It took 32 minutes to get the burrito. There were 4 other people in the restaurant. I’m assuming they were busy with delivery orders. The burrito was OK. The rice was entirely over-cooked and crunchy. I let the staff know, and they did offer to make another burrito or comp a dessert. I appreciated their offer to make it right."
"I went here for the gluten free fried chicken sandwich and fries and I was *not* disappointed! The sandwich was delicious! Great seasoning, not too much batter, and juicy chicken. The gluten free bun was one of the best I’ve ever had. And the fries were so crispy and fresh that I gobbled them right up. My gluten loving friend had a burger and was equally as impressed. We are already talking about our next visit!"
