"The food was good if you are in the mood for an old style hamburger and fries. We have driven by here many times, we just never stopped. There was a constant stream of people while we were here at about 4pm. It is kind of expensive for what it is, but it is definitely not a chain. The fries were very salty and a bit underdone. There were an abundance of them though."
"We had ice cream only. Family of 4. Banana split was very good and well prepared. Hand dipped ice cream is always great. Very clean inside, hasn't been updated which is nice. Keeps the old ice cream parlor feel!"
"We had a Reuben Sandwich, a spicy chicken sandwich and cheese fries. The Reuben and fries were really good, the chicken sandwich was ok, but not spicy at all."
"We were visiting Charleston and were excited to try this place for a late night dessert. The icecream sadly didn’t meet our expectations. We got the banana pudding, French vanilla, and plum cherry flavours of icecream. While we could indeed taste the cold and the sugar characteristics of the icecream, the flavour was largely absent from all the flavours. It’s not a huge restaurant, and the smell of burning meat on entering the restaurant was jarring. There was a pungent odour right outside the restaurant too, which doesn’t make for an enticing visit to a restaurant. They also have an extensive food menu consisting of sandwiches, fries and burgers among other items. The service was prompt. This seemed to be a pretty poor experience and we recommend you to visit other better icecream stores in Charleston if you’re looking for dessert. A small parking space is available outside. It wasn’t busy the Wednesday evening that we visited. Seating area is available both inside and outside."
"Ok so we were excited to try this place. Not sure what all the hype is. The burgers are just frozen patties nice and greasy, salad was sub par with wilting lettuce. Wings weren’t crispy could have used an extra 5 min. Tater tots were food and so were the onion rings. I guess if you are looking for a good hangover burger this will hit just right. The ice cream is only good because it’s blue bell. It’s a bit pricey for the quality of food. Won’t be going back at all"
