"House margaritas were perfect, and repeatedly made the same. My burrito was huge! Tacos were great. Staff was attentive, fun decorations. Indoor and outdoor (dog friendly) seating."
"Soooo good!! We got the trio dip for a starter and that was some of the best guac I’ve had at a restaurant! The food was great, the atmosphere and staff were very inviting. You’ve gotta give them a try!"
"It's our second time at Ru Ru's Taco's &Tequila. They have a fabulous Happy Hour and a great selection of Tequilas. Everything was great except the bartender Friday at 4 pm wasn't very attentive. We waited 20 minutes for an acknowledgment for another drink while she served friends. I watched other customers have the same service. I rarely tip less than 15% or say my 2 cents worth of a complaint, but the owners may want to know why they could have better liquor sales."
"Earlier in the day I had pointed out this place because we wanted tacos, but didn’t want to walk far from our resort. We had some reservations that because of the name they may be pricy. They weren’t to over the top, about average for the area. Our waitress was very helpful in navigating the menu. She had an excellent memory. She didn’t write anything down, and remembered all our special requests. Throughout the meal she was very attentive. While figuring out what we wanted to eat we enjoyed looking at the names of things. Very cleaver. We had a good time with the movie references. They don’t serve tea, which was a bit of a disappointment. My other half settled on water. I myself had Diet Coke. We shared a friend zone with sugar instead of salt. It tasted like a standard margarita. Nothing special, but still tasty. For an appetizer we shared a Snoop A Loop. Special requested to have meat, queso, lettuce, tomato. It was delicious, and ended up being what I ate for dinner. They were generous with the toppings. We had a few chips left I’ve, and still plenty of toppings to take with us for a snack later. For dinner we both had a Why So Serious. It’s a pretty standard taco. We subsisted pico for tomato because of my onion allergy. They were also generously portioned. After a couple bites I ended up giving mine to my other half- the hamburger had a bit to much spice for my liking. I’m not sure why I didn’t notice this on the Snoop A Loop. If they had dessert options I didn’t notice. Full from dinner we didn’t ask either. Maybe on a other visit. I didn’t noticing anything striking or standout about the décor. We were in a booth. It was sturdy and didn’t rock, which was nice. They were friendly to our service dog. They made sure where we sat had ample space for my Walker and service dog. Between the service and food we’d visit again when in town."
"This is my 2nd time here. My first time (when it opened a few years ago) was pretty good. I think they have lost their touch. This time was pretty bad. We went early so not too busy but and I liked our waitress. However, The food was not very good. I got a fish, shrimp, and then veggie taco. My tacos were pretty plain and the tortilla shell themselves were hard and stale tasting. I tasted the other burrito and quesadillas that the other people in my party ate and were okay, pretty heavy with sauce and the meat was pretty chewy. Unfortunately, I probably wouldn’t go back again."
