Isle of Palms County Park 1 14th Avenue, Isle of Palms, SC 29451

"I have been coming to this area for beach access for years. Lots of parking easy to get in and out of. There is a fee. A playground and restroom on this end of beach. A VFW , a few restaurants and condos on the beach. Not a lot a lot hotels. This is the the beach most local go to. Not good for fishing. Kind of disappointing that there is only one pier. This pier is not open to the public. The only people allowed on it are the ones staying in the condos nearest to the pier. #ttip: Closes kind of early. Make sure you understand the closing times if you park inside. if you plan to stay for longer periods of time, use the paid street parking right outside the park."

"Wonderful, clean park! Bathrooms are clean, separate dressing rooms and showers. Easy to get in and out of parking lot. Playground for kiddos. Dogs are allowed on beach but all were very well behaved. Lots of seashells for kids to find. Looking forward to our next visit."

"LOVE!! They have a changing area, a place to rinse off, rent boogie boards and umbrellas. We go to Isle of Palms every year but first time we came To the County Park! Easy parking too."

"This was suggested by the Hilton Garden Inn. I am handicapped and wheelchair is necessary. This place was perfect for that with handicap parking for free. All other cars do have to pay for parking and it does close after certain hours 9a-8p. As for my trip, it was beautiful. They also offer beach wheelchairs at not cost. Offer playground and picnic areas with small grills. Lifeguard on duty 10a-6p. I will be returning in the future with my family."
