"One of my favorite shorter hikes in Oconee County! Dog friendly! Easily marked trails! We came here in the fall and the views were spectacular. The trail itself is rather easy to navigate, with only a few sketchy narrow pathways leading to the falls. If you are looking for an easier hike, I would absolutely start with this one."
"This is probably the best waterfall I've seen yet. The rain made the fall just explode with water. The water was still crystal clear and freezing. You can get the perfect picture if you can handle walking in the water."
"This was an amazing hike. It says moderate but I would almost classify it as an easy hike. You walk down a gravel road through campgrounds and then you take the trail. It is really nice and the waterfall at the end is incredible, I do a lot of hiking to waterfalls, and I would say this is the best one in the state. 10/10 recommend. There is a parking lot and you can even dry camp there"
"Beautiful drive up thru the Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina. It's a pave road for most of the way, but it ends at the very end about a mile or so. There is plenty of parking, and there is an outhouse, but it's full of flies, so there are no surprises there. The Falls is a beautiful short and fairly easy hike to reach. Can be wet it places and be careful of tree roots and rocks. Once at the Falls, I recommend taking your shoes off and very carefully edge into for a better view. The water will be very cold and it's a sandy gravel bottom. Careful of the rocks, they can be slippery when wet. Beautiful falls to hike to and experience."
"Got a little turned around on the way back. Pay close attention if you go from the parking lot and go in via across from the restrooms. Wound up coming back through the campground, the other way in. Someone said the way we went was more scenic but after seeing the river on the way out, I think both are quite good. In some ways, I'm glad it happened. I got to see alot more and will return to figure out where I went wrong."
