"This is a free fountain in the historic park. The fountain is indeed shaped exactly like a pineapple. You'll almost certainly be waiting in line for a photo if you visit on a Saturday. That said, it's a very well sculpted fountain and worth your time to visit. The waterfront is next to it where you'll likely be able to see dolphins and a nice sunrise if you get here early enough."
"Neat little walk on the pier. We saw dolphins, the bridge, and the aircraft carrier across the river. Also, you can see Fort Somter. Walk a little more to see the pineapple fountain. It's a cool area."
"This is a very beautiful fountain. I want to look at him and look at him. I think this is the main attraction of the city. Nearby there is an embankment with a large swing, another fountain, where there is also some information about the history of the city, and a water taxi stop. From the embankment you can see a beautiful bridge on the other side. We parked on the next street, it was close. I recommend visiting this place!"
"It was a beautiful place to walk around. Must be nice to watch sunrise or sunset here. We would love to come back in the fall or spring. It's too hot but we still enjoyed our visit."
"It's a pretty area. Depending on which direction you go, there are a lot of things to walk around to see or do. *So, be prepared for a lot of walking! Plenty of: Old Charleston History, Shopping, Dining, Sight Seeing or just sitting to relax ... Parking can be tricky; expect to pay a meter or parking garage/lot fee (be aware - some are way higher than others per hour, especially if you don't plan on staying long)."
