"Uncrowded museum filled with incredibly rich content for its size. Great natural history, historical SC replicas and stories, adorable interactive children's area and play place."
"I had a really great experience while visiting Charleston Historic Museum, It’s amazing to see history before my time. If your interested in learning about the culture, check out the Charleston Historic Museum"
"A great way to spend a few hours learning about the history of the area before you venture out into other areas of the city. You can park in the back of the museum and get your parking code for 4 free hours when you register at the front desk. Get the double ticket and see some of the mansions nearby too"
"This museum is a must see!! We didn't have a lot of time, and spent about two hours here. To really do it justice you would need 3-5 hours. Jane, at the front desk, was a delight and very helpful. There is so much information, and history about Charleston. So much I didn't know. If you're ever in CHS be sure to hit this museum. We loved it. I went with my sister who lives in Charlesto, and she was so pleased with how great this museum was."
"Fun museum with something for everyone... My wife enjoyed the antiques from the Europeans, plates, silverware and clothing.... We both enjoyed the fossils and scientific history of the evolution of life... I enjoyed the different weapons, swords and uniforms from the 1800's... Highly recommended for anyone visiting Charleston, S.C. nice gift shop and cafe."
