"This hole in the wall place is more than what meets the eye. The outside is a little less than welcoming but when you enter and smell all the fresh soul food and meet the ladies that run the show, you immediately feel at home. We stopped in for lunch on a weekday and were blown away. We LOVED the vegan corn bread. So moist. And the barbecue sauce for the fried cauliflower. You definitely get what you pay for. My guest who has been vegan for the last 10 years finally got to try collard greens and was not disappointed"

"A FULL vegan spot in Savannah, GA who would’ve thought. Never the less the staff were some of the nicest ladies you’ll ever meet but the owner was so pleasant and genuine. I’ve been vegan 2 years now and this was my first time trying fried mushrooms done right SOOOOOO DELICIOUSSSSS! Now, Personally I hate cauliflower had them once as a kid hated it ever since BUT man oh man after trying their fried cauliflowers wings I have changed my mind about cauliflower!! Both the cauliflower and the mushrooms were so good, well seasoned, nice crisp, fried just right beautiful golden brown color, made fresh to order so they weren’t soggy, and the different sauce options added a nice touch.The mac was mac’n n the cornbread was gooooddddddee!!! They also have hand crafted juices I had to try one and baby they did not disappoint!! Overall I loved the food and I have made it my mission to go back to Savannah just for that reason.Thanks Hungry Vegan for bringing great food to the city much needed."

"Every time I eat here I am so happy. The food is amazing and I've always enjoyed everything I order. Today's special was over the top fantastic. Oyster mushrooms stew over rice with cabbage, black eyed peas, cornbread and a drink. Everything was so delicious. The portions are great too. I wish I had room for more!"
