Audubon Trail Porpoise Drive, Saint Helena Island, SC 29920

"Beautiful trail and easy to walk."

"This short trail near the salt marsh is found off of Porpoise Dr. There is no parking at the trail head, so you'll need to park near a wood deck look out which has large stone break water about 1/4 mile further up the drive and walk to the trail head. The trail starts in a forest, but opens to your left to the grassy salt marsh. I was able to see egret, browsing deer, small burrowing crab, Osprey and other creatures. I thought it would have been a longer trail, but it is maybe a little over a 1/4 mile out, then you turn around and return to the entrance. Not difficult at all, but a lot of plant and animals to see in that short walk."

"This is a cool little hiking trail in the Fripp island resort neighborhood. Unfortunately it was half underwater when we went so we had to make our way around the water as best we could. There are cool views of Marsh and water. Only takes a few mins to do the whole trail. not missing much if you don't do it."
