"I am a sucker for these kinds of diners. Homestyle foods made with care and friendly and good service with reasonable prices and no frills atmosphere. I had fried pickles and gumbo soup with some hush puppies. All good. Other items seemed good and judging by the lunch crowd this is a popular (and only) place to eat in the area."

"I’m so happy that I was finally able to stop and enjoy this AHHHMAZE’N restaurant. I’ve passed by many times thinking, “I’ll stop next time!” The woman that greeted me was genuinely kind and quickly had me seated and ready to explore their vast menu. My server, Laurie, brought me a HUGE cup of sweet tea before attentively taking my order. I know… I know it’s a seafood joint, right? Well, I decided on the surf and turf. I ordered my ribeye medium well and my shrimp fried. I decided on a loaded baked potato for my side. I didn’t have to use any steak sauce to mask the results of the kitchen. They were on point. That steak was grilled to perfection and seasoned the same. The shrimp was golden and the scallions on the potato put it over the top. The atmosphere was cheerful, casual, and welcoming. The entire staff seemed happy and the guests were friendly too. I recommend that you give this place a chance- I’m sure you’ll be glad you did. Just don’t wait as long as I did. I’ll ABSOLUTELY be back!"

"Great Creek Shrimp, aka popcorn / Calabash. May have to come back for dinner, the soft shell crab and whole fried flounder sound great too. Still great! Enjoyed my Creek shrimp this time around."
