"That man in there was obnoxious, making rude comments about a shirt I had on. And he was loudly trying to talk over me.. Never again. The waitress said he had something to do with the Cafe,, they need to get rid of him.. The hamburger was pretty good. I ordered tea, and I still don't know what was in that cup. Whitmire has really gone down hill. Not like the town it was many years ago when I grew up here."

"My family and I were passing through town and stopped for a bite to eat. We found this restaurant on Google, seen high reviews and figured to stop in. The service was pretty good considering it was a slow, Sunday afternoon so service may vary depending on when you go and what time. The food selection was good if the grills were fired up when we went. I would have much rather eaten something cooked fresh instead of food left under a heat lamp buffet style. The drinks were cold which was a bonus. The food we ate left much to be desired. My fried chicken was juicy, crispy, and warm (not fresh hot out of the fryer), the mashed potatoes were as cold as my drink, the broccoli casserole tasted good but could have been warmer. The banana pudding is what saved the day. I would have been perfectly happy paying $10 for banana pudding and been completely satisfied."

"I work from home, so I didn’t feel like cooking on my break. I saw the reviews and thought I’d go check out the new spot in town. The food was amazing!! It was hot, fresh, delicious Southern Homestyle cooking. The buffet is 11am-5pm, with menu ordering available as well. This will be my new spot."
