"This is a great small town diner! Great people, great food- if they recommend something, believe them! It's off the chain delicious, and you get a nice amount of food for the money. Their Ruben sandwhich is wickedly good!!! Very kind people, truly a real slice of Americana. Their deserts are all magnificent as well."

"We had the flounder plate and the flounder sandwich. Both were perfectly battered and fluffy on the inside. The salad was good, and the tomato in the salad and on my sandwich tasted farm fresh. Tater tots were crispy and yummy,, the fried okra was good as well. Huge slices of delicious apple pie. We even got a few free apples :-) Just a small family run place. A quaint setting with super friendly service. Highly recommend if you're going by, or as the destination of your trip."

"Absolutely a wonderful experience! We had the best fried pork chops (really tender, moist and easy to cut) & fried catfish. My wife had the pork chops with Succotash & mashed potatoes & brown gravy. I had the fried catfish filet w/fries, cole slaw & hush puppies. My catfish was the best I've had in a longtime. We both cleaned our plates. The restuarant is a rustic diner and takes you back to Mayberry NC days. We are already talking about going back next weekend to try some of the other menu items - like the meatloaf! Chef Matthew, you are doing a wonderful job! Keep the tasty food coming! Great Friday experience."

"Most delicious southern cooked food. Best sweet tea , the power even went out and the cook got us a light and they finished our food. There country fried steak was so tender,they didn’t even charge us for our meal due to the power going out. And our waitress was outstanding . Thank you guys for your southern hospitality!"
