"The single absolute WORST bass fishing spot I’ve ever been to. If you’re coming here to fish for bass, do it on a boat. From the pier is awful because every square inch of ground near the pier is covered in thick weeds and branches that not even a weedless rig can get through. Not to mention the pier not having a cover over top makes 90 degree heat in the middle of summer terrible. 0/10 would not recommend."

"Amazing public park! Playgrounds, picnic shelters, walking/biking path through the woods, fishing pier, boat ramp. All set in a beautiful setting on the lake. We Will visit often!"

"Crappie fishing is good, but mostly caught small ones we had to let go. The park is only open from sun up to sunset. No exceptions. Too many idiotic rules for a county park, and the administrator is beyond strict. He'll call the sheriff in an instant."

"Awesome place haven't really caught any fish there, but the place is peaceful and grounds are well maintained. It has a restroom facility that is clean. It also has several picnic areas when you are there you get to feel like your rich."
