"Good atmosphere in terms of the people and music but absolutely terrible bouncers who shove small women around without a word or reason and bartenders apparently make up random prices now and can’t measure the drinks. Been going here for about 5 years I’m mind blown by the change and done."
"Great music! Visited a Halloween party here, and I enjoyed it a lot. The sound system is great! The place is in the heart of Clemson Downtown and is easily accessible. The place is filled with students on weekends, but worth the visit!"
"I went there a couple years back and was kicked out because of the color of my skin. I didn’t rate it then because I wasn’t familiar with goggle reviews, but my fiancé brought it up in conversation and it reminded how outraged I was about the whole situation, and how anyone can be treated like that by a white person. I had ordered a couple drinks for me and my fiancé and we were chatting and having a good time, but the atmosphere in the room didn’t feel right, I could feel a lot of tension coming towards some of the people dinning in and even the staff. After awhile a group of white young men and woman started to make comments about me in my fiancé in their conversations saying “Why did they let these people in” and something along the lines of “These brownies are taking over everything” or “these brownies are taking over this place”. The comments started to grow louder so to make it known to me and my fiancé that they were talking about us. Eventually they walked over and started taunting us about our drinks and that we shouldn't be here as the staff watched or turned an eye. The white people in that area treat you horribly, I don't think all white folk are like this there, but majority are malevolent and have bad intentions against others with even the slightest change of pigment on their skin."
"Man behind the bar was in inappropriately flirting with me multiple times even though I was visibly uncomfortable. I started speaking to my friend in Spanish, in my native language. The man heard us speaking to each other (NOT TOWARDS HIM AT ALL!) and asked if I was a Mexican. His whole demeanor changed when he realized I was Hispanic and started yelling at me and cursing at me with racial slurs to get out. He and another one of his male coworkers grabbed me by the arm and threw me out. They left bruises on my arm and my friends leg was hurt when they threw her out in the concrete as well. I’m documenting this to file a police report on assault and sueing this place. Good luck staying open if you treat women like this and people of color in this bar."
"I love this place and I'm a regular almost every day. This new charge has not been a problem till recently. I was walking in with my $5 and the bouncers were so hostile towards me. The manager took my wristband after I gave my $5 (with my VALID id approving) and I was out of 5 dollars. I'm a respectful regular, I get a drink and leave. However, tonight, the bouncers were new and I felt violated and deceived. I felt as if they wanted my 5$ to just deny me from a random night where no one was there. Is this bar just profit seeking now????"
