"My husband and I consider Larkins as a top notch luxury spot in Greenville. We were looking forward to our valentines dinner & the food was amazing! However the experience could have been improved. We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time and was sat in farthest spot of the back patio area. The table beside us was not acting appropriately and us as well as the tables around us were not pleased that they were being loud, clapping, yelling, etc. Our server unfortunately wasn’t attentive during our meal and even had a different server box up our food and bring our check without even saying goodbye so we assumed he left but we saw him while leaving the restaurant hanging out talking in the back. We would like to come back in the future but are hoping it’s different next time around."

"Worth a visit from a recommendation. If you’re craving steak, Larkins delivers. I went with the ribeye that moos. It’s gotta be rare with the outside cooked just right. Paired that with several glasses of vino tinto and creamed spinach. Had a blast hanging out at the bar too, made new friends. Another reason to visit for their HH oysters and drinks!!"

"The atmosphere was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the Herb roasted chicken and the bone in NY Strip was divine. The downside was the chocolate cake, it was dry and didn't have enough flavor. Otherwise we enjoyed the dinner."

"This is a great little spot. We were in town visiting family and decided to try Larkins. My boyfriend’s dad had the filet which he said was the best he’s ever had. I had the pork loin which was exceptional. The apple cake for dessert was delicious. Service from our waitress Teri was also impeccable. I would definitely recommend trying this place!"

"I'm glad I went there with good company and socializing as a priority instead of looking for an intimate experience boosted with great food. Food: it is ok. There is a gap between the overall quality you are getting for the dish and the money you are paying for it. Starting with the drinks, I had a Gin and Tonic. It was the simplest G&T I was given at a “fine dining “ restaurant. I was expecting more. My spouse had the Carl is Old Fashioned, and it was unbalanced, leaning towards the sweet world. For starters, we had the Deviled Eggs, Larkins Charcuterie, and the Tuna Poke. This last option was the fan favorite of the entire night. It felt fresh and flavorful. For dinner, I had the Crab and Pistachio Mahi Mahi, and my spouse had the Pan Seared Scallops. Both were okay, but again, they didn’t feel special. It lacked craftiness. Although written they seemed good, the flavors were bland. Also, the mac and cheese with lobster is a no. Service: was good. Considering the level of competition that exists in downtown, this restaurant is not at the top of the list."
