"Nice easy/ moderate trail. Lake Wattacoo is definitely a hidden gem."
"Nice trail. Rough and rocky but a great view at the top."
"It is a great place to hike and get some exercise. There are multiple paths to take and hike. The first time I hiked some of the Mountain Bridge hiking trail, which was a little challenging but had some beautiful areas. The second time, I hiked the Wattacoo Pond loop, where you can travel around the beautiful pond along the loop back. The only issue I have is that you can get confused along the trails, with limited signage around."
"West fork trail at Ashmore Heritage Preserve is a short and nice trail with great maintained trails and beautiful waterfalls and the lake is splendid. When you get here park your car on the side of the road than walk pass the red gate and on your way to the trail, keep going on west fork trail to view the two nice looking waterfalls than when you head back follow the gravel trail to get to the Lake and relax in the area, have a nice time and take care"
"This is a great hiking loop on your way to or back from busier Wildcat Wayside. The 1.5 mike loop takes you to a peaceful lake with a view of a waterfall higher up the mountain. Plenty of great picnic spots around the lake. The trail is not well marked but it’s well-cleared; follow the sound of the falling water and you’ll find the lake in no time. There is also a bat house and a well built iron bridge on this pleasant hike. My four year old daughter did this hike no problem, just watch your ankles on the part of the trail with larger loose rocks."
