Southern Fried Green Tomatoes

"My husband and I have dined here throughout the years. Enough to write this honest review. Unfortunately this place has gone downhill in the past couple of years. They used to hand bread everything. Now your chicken fried chicken is literally chicken tenders from a freezer (which you can smell the freezer burn on) with gravy on top… you used to get a huge chicken breast freshly fried to perfection. The biscuits used to be thick and fresh now they are thin and cold every time. The sides aren’t seasoned like the used to be. I don’t say this lightly and have come here enough the last year to know this is the new quality of this place. Also spending $40 for two people to eat a meat and three is just…. Uncalled for."

"I really love this place! It's nothing fancy on the inside, but the food is awesome! I've liked everything I've gotten here. I would much rather go here if I'm craving this kind of food than go to Cracker Barrel. I particularly like the fried chicken, mac n cheese, and collard greens. My only complaint would be the super hard seats on the booths. Definitely not comfortable. It's a little pricy, but the portions are very big."

"My lunch was very disappointing and I refused to finish. I'm comparing this location to Woodruff Rd, in which never disappoints. My meal lacked seasoning and the fried tomatoes were tough as a ginger snap due to excessive batter. I don't think I'll return to this location. What a waste of $25."

"Everything about this dining experience was beyond excellent. I had the fried chicken breasts, fried green tomatoes and sweet potato souffleé. Large portions, yummy and excellent prices. Service with a smile."

"My new favorite! From the moment we stepped inside we knew it would be good. The staff was super friendly. The hostess was great with my daughter and sat us right away. I had the chicken livers, my wife had the fried chicken and my daughter the chicken tender. To say the portions were generous is a huge understatement. This is easily two meals for me! The food is divine. Everything was cooked to perfection. Can't wait to go back!"
