"Was visiting Gardner Webb for a baseball camp. Needed breakfast after dropping my son off. McDonald's was across the street, but the Snack Shop was about a half mile from the field. Solid decision to take the walk. I was greeted and helped upon entry, and the sausage egg and cheese on rye off the flattop was perfect. Inside was clean and screamed classic diner. If you go to GW, don't give McDonald's your money. Go to Snack Shop"
"We decided to eat there after viewing Gardner-Webb University for a tour for our daughter. It's directly across the street from the campus. The food was served quickly and was a nice mom and pop shop. Staff was very friendly. They even sung happy birthday to my wife even though it was one of the other lady's birthday as well. Highly recommend it. Iced tea was great. Kept the glass was filled"
