"We recently drove from Florida to surprise our friend living there who was celebrating her 70th birthday. We talked to Betsy the week before to describe to her our plans. She coordinated with the staff. When we arrived and talked to Eric, Jacob, Nicole and Giovanna they were totally in on the surprise…they hid us until it was time to surprise her. They took videos as we came in and sang to her. It was so amazing.. their cooperation, their positive attitude and their willingness to help us was above and beyond expectations. The name of the restaurant is Rick Erwin’s on 104 E. Poinsett St. in Greer S.C. We are so appreciative of all the staff there AND the food was so delicious we recommend it. "The special salad with arugula, goat cheese and burata was phenomenal. The she crab soup was really good. The special seafood pasta was really good. I was very disappointed in the halibut. It was two small very overcooked dried pieces of fish. Otherwise, everything else about this place is great. Pretty pricey for dried fish though."

"This is our second visit to this wonderful restaurant. We love the decor, the people, and the whole ambiance of this place. The Calamari is the best I’ve ever had. My wife also ordered the jalapeño candied bacon and it was SO good. The entrees at our table were the Halibut special(topped with fried okra), Rick’s Fried Chicken, and the Veal Short Rib Tagliatelle. They were all amazing. The wine selection is very nice and we enjoyed our meal with the Ken Wright Pinot Noir. They had me at Willamette Valley Oregon. The exclamation point to our meal was Rick Erwin stopped by our table and greeted us. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Best restaurant in downtown Greer! Food is always great (I’m a big fan of the seared tuna and mushrooms, my husband always gets the filet and potatoes) and the cocktails are on point. We usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are super friendly. Will continue to be our go to for a nice dinner:)"
