"I ordered the smothered chicken and baked potato. It was good. The chicken was a bit dry but the toppings helped tremendously. The baked potato was a baked potato. Of course the tea was excellent as well as the service."

"First time trying this place and unfortunately won't be back. Online ordering was easy- so I thought. Their website states "10% off first online order" - the discount showed on my order prior to submitting it..once I paid, the discount had disappeared & I was charged more then it showed. I pulled around to pick up my order at drive-thru window, & I saw an arm with my food hanging out the window. I had to tell her I couldn't pull forward or I would hit my food. She didn't say a word at the window. I told her about the discount I was supposed to receive and she says "I don't know what to tell you, that must be a Doordash thing." I told her I ordered directly thru their website and she just kept staring at me shrugging her shoulders, insisting she knew nothing about it. She was not helpful at all. Finally someone else came up and I showed them also. She said to call the next day to speak with a manager. After getting home to eat, my Philly was awful- flat, chewy deli meat. I didn't even finish half my sandwich it was so bad. Not even worth calling about the discount. We won't be back."

"The food is delicious after all these years. I recently started going back by for lunch, and the food is made perfectly to order. The gentleman who usually works the drive thru is an absolute pleasure. Thanks for being a long-time staple in the community."

"Had lunch here. The food was really delicious. I had the open faced roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy. With a side of green beans. Everything was hot and delicious. My coworkers had a club sandwich and the pork chops with okra. They both also agreed on the quality of the food. Great place. The decor is somewhat outdated but don’t let that deter you. You’ll absolutely enjoy your meal. I can’t wait to come back and try all the homemade desserts. Cheesecake etc."
