"Room was big and nice but this has to be the worst “Ocean Front” room there is. Yes, it faces in the direction of the ocean, but it’s basically not visible. We requested a high floor but got floor 2. There’s no way this place is so full mid-week in January. I would’ve saved the points and taken ocean side had I known. I would be VERY upset if I had used in-season level points for this terrible view. Pic of the “view” from our balcony."

"Our first visit to Hilton Head and Marriott Grande Ocean Resort. My stay was January 13-20 ,which is off season. Let me start by saying that everyone I encountered at the Resort were extremely polite and cordial. We were originally placed in a unit that had a LOUD banging noise that kept us up all night. Unfortunately, engineers could not locate the problem so we were moved to another unit. My biggest complaint was that The Loggerhead Landing closed the day after our arrival for 2 weeks. Loggerheads is the only real place to get food and cocktails at the resort during the off season. The closest restaurants are nearly a mile away. This closure was not listed on their website. We found out about the closure at checkin. I would recommend visiting after February 1. Several restaurants I wanted to try were closed during our stay. Lots of activities and multiple pools for adults and kids alike. Gym was well equipped with a stellar view of the ocean. Spa is located on site. Unit was well equipped and we really enjoyed the weather and long walks on the beach. Grounds were well maintained."

"We loved it here. We took amazing pictures. We sat on the swings and relaxed as we listened to the music. Our room was big and amazing. We played pool, and my daughter enjoyed the indoor pool. It was a great time. They have corn hole, fire pits, foosball, paddle ball, pool, and many pool, even a lazy river thats heated to 85°F. The staff was amazing and so kind."

"I wish I could give a 5 star review but I can't. The resort weathered Idalia hurricane very nicely. They communicate well during that storm and also throughout our visit; unfortunately we lost hot water in our villa bldg for over 12 hours. Additionally we scheduled a room cleaning for a Monday morning at 10:00. With having plans it was crucial they arrived in the morning. They showed up at 3:00 as I needed to shower for our appointment. So a five star review is not possible. The resort is nicely located with good access to the beach. The staff is friendly."
