Summerfield park

"It's supposed to have a SPLASH PARK that works! The Splash Park hasn't worked in months!! Very very upset or over this!! Also Splash Park isn't really any kind of splash park. It's a plastic tree where water comes from that's all!!! Don't get excited over this splash park! It's one of the reasons we chose our place of rent and it does not even work!! Also, the play ground equipment needs up dating. Huge space but need to be kept up."

"On my visit, it was full of people playing basketball, soccer and kids playing on the swings. It had barbecue pits, water fountains and restrooms. It’s a little old, but a good park. Parking was weak though."

"Unfortunately this park is poorly taken care of and nobody seems to respect it. I grew up in this area, and we haven’t been to this park in a while. Took my 2 year old and the play area had broken glass all around. We kept picking up pieces of broken beer bottles, cigarette buds everywhere. Even on the soccer field. It’s just such a shame we can’t take care of areas for the youth."

"Very nice Park overall for kids of all ages to play. The basketball courts are extremely nice, there's a soccer field, a splash pad (seasonal), covered seating, charcoal grills, public restrooms, and a playground. The only safety concern was a few areas where the fence has holes and since it's next to a busy street there's a lot of risk for children to access the street. The bathrooms were in HORRIBLE condition. It looks like they haven't been cleaned in months. Yuck! Plenty of places to put trash in so the ground are fairly free of trash and debris. Looks like the playground area is getting expanded to include a swing set. Plentiful parking and lots of shade at the parking lot and on the playground from large trees."

"My 1st time going & it's a very nice little spot. Lots of sports being played (basketball, soccer, etc) & lots of families enjoying theirselves. It was a beautiful day (5-29-21) & everyone that I encountered big or small had wonderful manners & was well behaved. Great time at the splash pad with kiddos."
