"Shane is the man! Prices better than almost all other local rentals. Partner and I rented half day solo kayaks of course I soaked my shirt through in October. We still wanted to eat on the island and when I mentioned this shane gave me a t shirt he had just so I didnโt have to spend 25/30$ on a new shirt at a tourist shop. Go see him now!!!"
"We had a great time kayaking. Our guide, Shane, was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the area and was super nice. They were able to easily accommodate our group of 12 (all ages). Would definitely use them again!"
"I am so glad I found this place - everyone was incredibly friendly and the price is very fair! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a kayak rental, and for a self-guided adventure."
"Both Shane and Dante were very knowledgeable of the history of the area as well as the natural wildlife. They were also quick to action when our tour had less than stellar moments, including a flip while boarding and some other small injuries, that were unrelated to the flip. It was great to learn more about the spot we are vacationing while getting out on the open water. The route is suitable for beginner to intermediate kayakers. There are waves but they were manageable as long as the near by boats respected the no wake rules. Otherwise, Shane and Dante were helpful in teaching the group how to navigate the choppy water."
"These folks are awesome. We lugged a couple kayaks with us and rented a couple from them. Good peeps, good equipment and great location for a 2-3 hours of exploring. It is in an active commercial fishermen facility so you get to see some shrimping boats. There is an option for local fresh caught seafood, but they do not open till the afternoon. Anyway, you can easily kayak to a rather secluded beach. Hopefully you will get lucky and see dolphins. We saw dozens. Many were right up by our boats. Paddling over to the lighthouse is also nice. Highly recommend these folks for rentals. Good people."
