"The gym is always clean. There are plenty of machines to alternate. I enjoy going. The only reason for not a 5 is because I consider the benefits of a sauna or steam room as part of a 5 star gym experience."

"I have been going to Gold’s Gym in North Charleston for a number of years now. I started training with Ada Aitken, who literally changed my life with her method of getting me in shape and pretty much re-sculpting me. Just under a year ago I started working with Taylor Zandi. Taylor has taken everything that I achieved with Ada and put it in overdrive! I am stronger, at a great weight, and I feel fantastic! Simply put…they are the best. Carla (manager) and her staff, the facilities, the atmosphere, the classes…theyare all great. I am constantly telling my family and friends about this Gold’s gym. PLUS…side note…they support me (Grammy winning musician) and my performances locally. They are definitely my extended family!! Love them and live this place! Get here!!"

"Call me partial since I used to work here full time - but I have been to quite a few gyms in the area and nothing tops a few things (in my opinion) quite like Golds Gym North Charleston. The staff - (yes we all have our days where we don't want to go to work am I right?) are majority of the time super helpful and that includes the managers, Carla and Vertrell. They both instill customer service as top priority within the staff and has always executed professionalism whenever there was an issue with a customer's account or anything having to do with the gym. The new cleaning ladies are doing an INCREDIBLE job and the Kids Club is amazing. They even watched my twin daughters for multiple years while I worked. The gym's atmosphere is unlike any other - it promotes a judgement free zone for people of all ages while also providing a space for body builders and heavy lifters which is something that you cannot find in other gyms within Charleston. While equipment may take some time to fix - people need to understand that that is at the mercy of manufacturers of equipment, not at the expense of the owner or management. Let's also not forget if something is out of order - there are always alternatives to exercises. If you don't of any then the amazing PT staff would be more than happy to help. Highly recommend this facility even post working here :)"

"The gym is not the newest and you can definitely see that when looking at some of maschines. However there is an enormous amount of equipment and all of it is in perfect shape. The atmosphere is very chill, I really like it here."
