She also recognized when we needed to talk privately and excused herself to give us privacy. She was super professional and very knowledgeable about the products we were looking at. "Our in store experience was good until it came time to discuss price. After some negotiations and consultations with “ the manager” we agreed on a price and felt like we had gotten a good deal. We were told the price was only good for that day and if we left the deal was gone. When we got home and went on line we realized this super timely deal was the same as the on line price for the two items we bought. This was so disappointing and that part of the experience felt like buying a car. Delivery was timely and only 4 business days later. The delivery guys called to tell us they were on the way and closed the conversation by indicating that tips would be appreciated. This felt like a shakedown and since we had paid $200 for delivery there was no tip. While we love our new furniture I’m not sure we would go back to Ashley Furniture because the process felt so shady and disrespectful."
