"Let me put it this way: https://youtu.be/2hvVhKHqlgI?si=xfmiWq3fPgWJWRPh We booked. Checked in for 4 nights. Took one look at the dirty room, rumpled bed, stained bedspreads, dirty hallways, etc.--and promptly left for another hotel. Grim, dingy, dirty, with a front desk agent who simply disappeared leaving the hotel completely unattended for a half hour when we were trying to leave and others were lined up to check in! So we called the front desk--twice. She finally answered and came waltzing in the door and said, "I had to go to The Dollar Store." Unbelievable."
"The entire building smells of cigarette smoke. Supposedly this is a smoke free hotel, but as of when? Yesterday? As well, the place was dirty from the moment you walked in the lobby. There were stains on the doors in the room and bathroom walls. The bedsheets had stains as well. Nothing felt truly clean. I cannot speak to breakfast as I didn’t stay due to the strong cigarette smell."
"The overnight staff was nothing short of accommodating and really went the extra mile to help us as best the could. Thank you to those ladies. Over-all this hotel fits in the to 10 of the worst hotels we've ever stayed in and that includes a hostel in Germany with no air conditioning. It was dirty from the entrance and just got worse, trash and linens filled the halls. The floors were uneven. There's not a whirlpool but plenty of signs that indicate one. An elevator we were afraid was going to fall straight to the bottom floor. A handicapp room that did not have a shower head holder (though the overnight ladies did all they could to fix that including going to Walmart at night to find something that would work, they really went above and beyond). We reserved the handicapped room months in advance with the roll in shower because it's a necessity, that room was given to another guest. We were placed in a room and had to ask for a shower chair that was dangerous because yet another guest was using the only other shower chair. Dirty sheets. A microwave that smelled when used to warm food. Guests smoking in the elevator. Not to mention the curtain that looked like a cat had shredded it a long time ago. Never again!"
"Rooms outdated and need some upgrades. Shower curtains need to be replaced. The clerks are super nice and professional. The clerk Camesha or Carmeka is such a Blessing. She went above and beyond our expectations of handling our concerns. Overall my stay was great. I feel the workers need to be paid better and appreciated so they can make these Rooms just right. Make them feel like home away from home."
"We booked this hotel for a sports event and it was less than desirable. We as a family request and require no more than basic cleanliness and a safe environment. This hotel lacked that on multiple levels. Our room was not cleaned in multiple areas. It smelled so bad of weed in and outside of our room, and staff wouldn't address it. There were random people who were clearly intoxicated and on drugs coming in and out of the lobby. The lobby garbage was overflowing with beer bottles. The pool gate flings shut so fast that the gate hit and cut the back of my heal quite badly. The pool was so dirty and merky that you couldn't see the bottom. The elevators did not work and kept breaking down. If you can get past the strong smell of weed, you're met with the smell of mildew and musk. Staffwise: They had one staff member working.. overtime at check in by herself. We felt terrible for her. Our daughter had a gluten allergy, and the kitchen staff was extremely kind to let us know ingredients and made her a fresh shelled omelet so she didn't risk getting sick. Overall I'd say kind staff, decent rooms, okay location.. terrible hotel environment. Pictures on the site are deceiving. If you do book here, request anywhere on the second or 3rd floor to get away from the noise and smell.. but be prepared to walk stairs when the elevators are broken."
