"Love this place but won’t visit again. The “continental breakfast” is in fact not very continental anymore, and the quality worsened from the last time I was here. The little things like the Middleton place water bottles were swapped for standard boxed waters. They gave us less firewood. The price increased by over $100. Still a beautiful place and worth experiencing but disappointed to see decreasing quality."

"Super cool resort with plenty of space to relax. The breakfast service is great and the staff is friendly! The rooms are so modern and cozy, they have big windows to gaze at the beautiful river. You also get to visit the beautiful plantation."

"The grounds of Middleton Place are what make it all worth it. It’s so magical and serene. The rooms are nice but I did not find the bed comfortable and you can hear every little sound from your neighbors, so did not get any sleep as my upstairs neighbors were up all night. I’d like to come back but will request a top floor room if I do."

"Had an absolutely fabulous weekend at Middleton Place. We spent two nights and three days enjoying the grounds, restaurant and our GRAND room. On Saturday evening we skipped Happy Hour at the Lodge as we had dinner reservations at 6:00. So we enjoyed walking over to the restaurant for a romantic dinner with an awesome view. The food options, drinks and service was great. After dinner we took a walk around the grounds and enjoyed seeing all the wildlife. We got back to our room just in time to watch the sunset over the Ashley River. We skipped breakfast at The Boathouse on Sunday morning and slept in since our room was so quiet and peaceful. Plus we were excited to walk back over the the restaurant to try out the new BRUNCH menu. Again the food, service and views were appreciated. Walking the grounds is our favorite thing to do and there is so much to see. Can’t wait for our next stay"

"We had a great stay. The rooms are big and spacious and clean. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed walking around Middleton Place throughout the day and evenings. It’s definitely a beautiful place, quiet and relaxing. You get free tickets to Middleton Place as an Inn guest. The property is very well cared for and everyone was very friendly. The breakfast is just ok (not great), continental breakfast with no hot food items. There’s is a happy hour with free cheese and crackers and a free night cap with free macaroons and sherry wine. The restaurant in Middleton Place is VERY good, we enjoyed our lunch there."
