"I ordered my friend a bouquet of red roses and ranunculus from Meraki’s website. Unfortunately, the flowers that were delivered were completely different than the bouquet advertised on the website. Instead of ranunculus, they used alstroemeria — one of the least expensive flowers available, and definitely not on par with the cost of ranunculus. You have probably seen them at a bodega for $8.99. I understand that availability depends on the season but the business made no effort at communicating this change — if they had, I would have opted for a different bouquet. I reached out to Meraki twice via email to see if they would provide a partial refund or could do anything to rectify the situation, and received no response."
