"Herold and his son were nice people. As for the cars, I personally felt it was just the same as any other used car lot. The pictures over set the expectations of the cars by far. The headlights aren’t as clean and clear, the interiors aren’t as clean and flawless, nor is the body of the cars as clean as pictured. I looked at several four runners and heard a knocking in the motor of one and received responses of that being normal in the V8s along with finding several other things being doctored up in the vehicle. Miss match trip pieces and LKQ visor parts just put in place of the original. The most disappointing part was the second four runner we looked at. We went to check the 4x4 and the low didn’t work and we were assured we didn’t need that because the high did work but it was only an $800 fix that could come off the price when in reality it is a $4000 fix. My wife was told if need be a junkyard transfer case could be put in it to remedy the issue. We were there and prepared to pay cash for a vehicle and left very disappointed. We were told we would be called back the next week after a mechanic checked out the vehicle and by no surprise we never heard back. They are nice people but as for the cars, I’d check them out really well. Maybe they just bought lemons themselves, but be careful."
