Cleveland Park

"Excellent multi use park with lots of recreational areas, walk paths, pavilions, picnic areas, exercise stations, and pretty river views. This is one of the best "go for walk" parks in the entire upstate, as the trails and walk paths are large, and there are even some small offshoots. Additionally, there are tennis courts, a baseball field, playground, and sand volleyball court. Note that the side closest to the zoo has plenty of parking, but on busy days or big events it will get full fast."

"I have been visiting Cleveland Park for about 20 years and although the dog park is gone, it’s still a beautiful park to visit with a lot of features that have been added. The little exercise equipment along the trail is very nice. I ride my bike to the park and find it very enjoyable and safe. It also is a great spot for Geocaching."

"My husband, our friend, our dog, and I visited Cleveland Park on a rainy day. We entered through the entrance nearest to Fernwood Nature Trail. Based on the Google Maps description, we visited very little of the park. We cut our visit short due to the rain. The area we explored was quiet, clean, and peaceful. We noticed little workout stations in the area designed for individuals who are ambulatory or in wheelchairs. The path we walked on looked like a good walking, running, or biking path. There was a parking lot next to the entrance we utilized as well."
