"A bunch of scammers trying to pose as a “debt collector” to try and say you owe them money from companies you became past due with and the 7 years passed. Nice try, idiots! The one you’re trying to say I “owe” for is over 7 years old and not on my credit report. Report this scammy company and report any emails you get, even if they show up in Spam folder (which it did in my case)."
"scam company put spectrum equipment that wasn't owed, and confirmed 3 times with spectrum, and put collections on credit report. disputing it. do not call list these mfs! DONT PAY"
"never heard of these people before and suddenly Im getting notices about an account I dont have with someone else I never heard of. Google shows this is a scam company. I blocked them."
"Hopping on the bandwagon here - fraudulent company. I received “a bill” from spectrum stating that I had bills due well after an account was closed and verified as closed. Their voicemail box is clearly recorded - not legitimate and funny that they “were assigned” to collect a bill from my old address but the company is close to current address. Also the bill came in very not secure packaging. It looks real but there are CLEAR indications that this is a scam. You do not owe them money. They need to be shut down."
"This company is FRAUDULENT. Do NOT pay them!!! I noticed that I had a new collections account on my credit dragging my score down. The original creditor was “Charter Communications” which I had an account with - Spectrum - before moving at the beginning of the year. Supposedly I owed $60 for unreturned equipment. This account was closed, paid in full with a zero balance. No late payments. I called this company first, and attempted to pay them (which was definitely a mistake) and after multiple cards were declined by my bank for fraud, and they requested I contact my bank to let the charge through, I hung up and called Charter/Spectrum and before speaking to a representative the automated system told me I owed $0 remaining. I spoke to a representative and explained the situation, she confirmed that I had no remaining balance for services or equipment on any account in my name. Had never heard of this company before. They also had the wrong email for what the account was under. This company is fraudulent!!!"
