"When my parked car was hit while I was not in the vehicle, with a police report saying so, it still took two weeks to get a rental, which they tried to charge me for, it took a month for them to say they wouldn’t fix my car, and then it’s completely on you to find a new one, and the amount of money they give you for a car you bought brand new, is not enough to buy a brand new car. The value behind a vehicle extends beyond the monetary value that insurance puts on it. They don’t care about the years of work you put into something, they just scrap your vehicle put in a little money and say good luck, while you pay them more money in insurance than they’ll ever put into your vehicle. If you just saved the money set aside for insurance, you’d be better off. But luckily for Allstate, not having insurance is illegal, so they can screw you over because it’s a necessity for you."
