"I typically do not leave negative reviews, but when a company’s employees go out of their way to disrupt traffic and proceed to drive dangerously, I feel that I should speak up. I just finished a Dr. Appt. and was proceeding on to 690 East from the Teall Ave on-ramp. Traffic was backed up at 12:00 on October 25, I merged into the next lane with the assistance of a driver allowing me to proceed. In the next lane to my left traffic was also backed up and proceeding along at the same pace. A Van Slyke construction dump truck proceeded past me on my left and almost forced a small SUV in my lane into a collision. The VS construction vehicle proceeded forward for about a half a mile in the middle of both lanes holding up traffic. Eventually the lanes opened back up past Midler Ave off-ramp and the VS Construction truck proceeded on his way down 690 East. After seeing the reviews of this construction company, I can see why they act this way."

"Truck came across 2 lanes of traffic on I-81. If i had not slammed on my brakes and used the shoulder, he would have taken out part of my front end. Called the office got "I can't control them once they leave here." Trucks are supposedly GPS tracked."

"My car was showered with debris from one of their trucks. They called it an act of God and will not cover the damages totaling over $1,300. Seems like a patten for them given everyone's reviews. Would not recommend working with them under any circumstance."

"One of their large dump trucks while taking a left onto a small street cut off a car that had already begun taking a right onto the same street, nearly hitting the car. If the car did not hit the brakes and yield to the behemoth, the car would have been crushed. This occurred at 7:52 AM on 11/13/2019 in Minoa, NY. The truck number is V48. I would have reported the incident directly to Van Slyke Trucking but their website is sketchy and their website license actually expired two days ago."

"The 2nd core value on Cory Slykes website states "Maintain a safe environment for others on the roadways." Well, today multiple rocks flew off one of their trucks, broke my windsheild, and chipped paint off my hood and roof. Ironically they are refusing to pay for it."
