"I visited Lincoln Park Nursery today for the first time in a long time and I have to say I was very impressed. I have heard many times they are too expensive so I have avoided them but I encourage you to give them a try. I went to the place up the road to get some topsoil since they said they were open until 5pm but they were closed at 4:15pm so I have LPN a call. The man that answered the phone at Lincoln Park was very polite and answered my questions well. When I arrived I spoke to a young man about getting the topsoil and a very specific plant. He helped me find the plant I was looking for and seemed happy to help. I had some specific questions on the plant and he took the time to look it up, again he was pleased to do so. I have a ladder rack on my truck and the guy loading the top soil took his time and we communicated well to avoid any damage, again he was happy to do this. The bush/tree I purchased was 6 feet tall and 3feet around and was only $75.00. They helped me load it and took great care in doing so. The owner/manager also came out and made sure I was being helped to my satisfaction. He was pleased to hear I was and glad to talk/answer questions. The plant and topsoil were of good quality and I feel I got what I paid for with the soil but the plant was a bargain. Add in the actual service and smiles and I will be back, and happy to give them my money. Apparently you can’t review a place twice so I’ll update this one. Visited on 9/10/23 with my wife for some more topsoil since I expanded the garden and some hydrangeas. I was pleased with the service I received again and the gentlemen helping me was knowledgeable, eager to provide assistance to me and other customers, and knew his stuff. That’s three very competent people that I have dealt with. I will return and I will likely buy a bubbling fountain rock from them to add a waterfall to my existing pond."
