Reviews of George V Vanderbilt Park
"Good park, decent playground for the kids and nice walking trails"
"Nice walking trails, Dog friendly park and fun for the whole family"
"Plenty of parking. Nicely maintained trails with both field and forest views. There are trail markers, but it does get confusing. We wandered into a few dead ends. I used Alltrails but the mapped trail clearly wasn’t right either. The pond with a deck is the best part. Look for the decorated rocks hidden along the trail. Leashed dog-friendly."
"Just went to the park to chill out. It's a nice park and it's very relaxing"
"Adorable painted rocks hidden in trees along a trail. I posted some pictures of them. I'm very observant when in nature so I spotted one and smiled. Then I just kept seeing more as I walked along. I'm not from the area so I've never been here before. Not sure if there's a story behind all the painted rocks but whatever the case is, it totally made my day. I really enjoyed walking around here. Wide open space so you really don't run into many people. Trails, wide open fields , sports fields as well. Many ways you can walk around the area. Google maps led me to a place that was not the exact location. But I discovered that the specific name of this park where the walking areas are, are part of the Greenville Town Park. I'm going to be moving to the area next month so I'll definitely be going back here for some more walks. Might even add some of my own painted rocks in other places."
