"My nail tech of 4 1/2 yrs recently fell ill & had to cancel my appointment until further notice. I was so nervous about going elsewhere, because as mentioned, I've been going to my current nail tech (faithfully) for almost 5 yrs. & she takes pride in helping me keep my natural nails healthy & long & looking amazing. I also am a vocalist in a band & perform often, so my nails & feet have to remain on point. I also believe in supporting my people in business, so it was important for me to find another reliable black owned business. After doing my research & feeling like I would rather go onstage with my hands looking crazy, than have to settle for using materials I don't like using on my hands, (because most do not offer Polygel manicures & offer more acrylic services than anything else), or reading negative reviews, or finding the customer service or cleanliness was sub par, I literally finally found a hidden gem. To make it even better, it was literally a 7 min drive from where I reside. It's a store front on a side street & can easily be missed especially by car, because it's on a residential side street, HOWEVER that's one of the reasons I call it a "hidden gem"! Not only is this place aesthetically pleasing & cozy, I noticed the owner taking pride in keeping it clean & well disinfected. My technician, Shenoa had a great disposition & was very easy to work with. They don't offer Polygel at the moment, however they do have another service that I'm familiar with & have used, which is the IBD gel. You can feel the genuine love that Shenoa has for doing nails. I may or may not have talked her soul away, but we had many laughs & life lesson convos during my services. My pedicure treatment was done with Eucalyptus & Peppermint which was very luxuriating. In a nutshell, Shenoa became my "nail side piece" respectfully of course lol...Shenoa understood the assignment! She literally "Nailed IT! The price point is competitive. They will see me again & I will recommend Nailed IT to other people."
"THIS SPOT IS THE PLACE TO GET YOUR NAILS DONE! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted so nicely and was made to feel comfortable! The atmosphere of this salon was very relaxing, and peaceful. The overall extent that was taken to keep everything clean, and disinfected was honestly amazing. For a newer salon, the standard surpasses all expectations! The nail tech, was so kind; and willing to work with me. I’m more of a simple girl, who always gets a square acrylic set. But she helped me feel comfortable with trying a completely different shape, and was extremely patience during the process. Never once did she get annoyed, or have an attitude. Nailed It is definitely a salon, that truly cares about customer satisfaction. The owner Shackiera, check in within me to makes sure; I liked the service and was the sweetest individual! IF YOU WANT HIGH QUALITY SERVICE, AND BEAUTIFUL NAILS; with no pressure, NAILED IT is the spot!!"

"I was trying to support a local black-owned business unfortunately I was unable to. I booked an appointment for 5:30 around 12:30. To make the appointment online I had to pay for the full-service fee beforehand. Honestly at first I thought it was odd however I proceeded to book the appointment. I received an email around 12:45 saying there is an appointment conflict so the request was denied. That is fine however my card was charged for a service I did not receive. I called the location the receptionist was polite, however, unable to help me and had to call her manager and then call me back. Calls me back and says maybe I will get my money, later on, today because the manager has to process it so it may take some time. To support each other we have to do things properly this was not handled properly. I feel if there is a possibility of the establishment canceling the service why would you charge the full service beforehand? In that case, maybe charge a deposit or a booking fee but not the full amount. Especially when the establishment is the one canceling."
