The Enclave

"Building was great when we moved in. Has gone downhill in the past year. Things are not being taken care of and things are falling apart. Management has changed and we cannot even get heat in the common areas in the winter. The gym and amenity rooms are regularly in the 50s."

"The Enclave is a wonderful community to live in. There are so many amenities to enjoy and the building does a fantastic job of putting together events for residents to connect. The shuttle to the Path is a huge help for those who are commuting into the city and the shuttle hours at night are really helpful for those getting home later in the evening. The building is always so clean and maintenance responds in a timely manner to assist with unit needs. The parking garage is also a huge benefit for this building."

"Five stars all around. It has been a pleasure living here especially after coming over from a Newport/LeFrak building and hearing about the horror stories at nearby Hudson, Soho, Cast Iron, etc. buildings among others with elevator issues, water issues, and hiking of amenity fees. The staff here is responsive and kind and the general feel amongst the residents trickles down from that. Feels like a real community of neighbors which is truly rare in the NY Area."

"Where to begin? We have had the same countless issues since moving into the Enclave that everyone else is writing about. The straw that broke the camel's back for us was the extreme error of management regarding our storage unit. We rented a storage unit in the building April 2023. I have our signed contract with the unit number clearly listed. I visit our unit every 1-2 months as I need to add more items but obviously don't visit on a regular basis. On October 1st, I go to add something to our unit only to find that someone else's belongings are there with a new lock. I am panicking and wondering where all our things are (mostly our baby items which are extremely important to us) The Enclave CUT OFF our lock and moved all our things out without our consent or ANY warning. I finally find our things piled in an open corner. Who knows when this happened or why. My husband and I had to go through all our items to take inventory (yes something was stolen from us) and we moved our items to a new empty unit and bought a new lock. I immediately contacted management. Their excuse was that "there was no record of anyone renting that unit. We apologize for the error". I'm sorry, but I have a signed lease and I have a record of you charging me every month since April for this unit. How do you have NO RECORD of this? We feel so violated and uncomfortable after this incident. Management's lack of urgency to help fix the matter has been disheartening. It took them NINE days to get back to us with the bare minimum compensation for this mistake. If you want to move here, think twice! There are better options where you and your belongings will be safer."

"I do not recommend that you move into this house. He is really very handsome at first glance. But when you live in it, nothing works, everything is temporarily under repair, the shuttle works very poorly, it never arrives on time. Very bad managers, they are not interested in your problems, they are not ready to help you. And you will always find strange bills for services or fines. Do not move into this house."
