"I've been at The Sawyer for a couple of months and LOVE it! The amazing staff, beautiful amenities and the well constructed units bring so much value to this building. Being in real estate I am in and out of rentals all day - The Sawyer, by far, is the best building in the Hoboken area. Highly recommend becoming a resident here!"

"As you take a tour of the building, amenities and vacant apartments you'll notice that a lot of time was put into the appearance leaving you asking what's the catch? I'll keep it simple; the building was constructed in a way where you can hear every footstep of an upstairs neighbor and mediocre property management at best. You're concerns will go into a black box and should feel lucky if you get a rational response. If you have a car, good luck dealing with the entrance to the parking garage. No accountability on the building to ensure the parking garage isn't being blocked as you're entering or leaving, so have fun with that. In my opinion just not worth what you pay for. Lastly, what's with the constant fire alarms going off I feel like I'm in a college dorm."

"Extremely shady leasing staff that comes up with nonsense reasons to decline perfectly qualified rental applicants. It's almost as if they are looking for any excuse possible to decline you after applying and collecting the application fee. The reasons that they will come up with to decline you are ridiculous and no legitimate rental company would give you a hard time about. After trying for this apartment, it took me 48 hours to get accepted and sign a lease with another similar kind of building, and I had NONE of the hassle that I was given by the Sawyer employees. If I had to guess, it seems like they are either trying to give out apartments to the highest bidder, or just declining qualified applicants until they can raise rental prices (since right now, their prices are lower than similar buildings in the area. The low prices are what attracted me in the first place). Either way, I wouldn't bother wasting your time here. If you like amenities buildings like this in JC, look to cast iron lofts, soho lofts, or one of the other buildings in the area."

"My wife and daughter recently moved into Sawyer from Australia, and the experience has been better than we could have hoped for. Armoni and the team were extremely cooperative and helpful in working with us to apply and secure the apartment, which was complicated by the fact that we hadn’t received our SSN cards and hadn’t built up a US credit score. They answered emails and phone calls promptly and were eager to make things as easy as possible for us. The location is convenient for getting anywhere in Hoboken walking, and to the PATH station 15 minutes away. We don’t have a car, but Newport centre is close by so we were able to pick up essentials on the day we moved in. The apartment itself is modern and stylish. The complex has useful amenities that provide a great environment for a young family. The lounge/club is a perfect setting to work at home outside the apartment itself as well. Overall would highly recommend based on Sawyer’s competitive prices compared with the rest of the managed rental apartment market in Hoboken (our 550ft studio I guess is on average a few hundred USD cheaper than a standard place in the centre of Hoboken)."
